HOW TO CLEAR /REMOVE GREENSCREEN IN FILMORA 9

Not only in Filmora 9, you can also apply this way of work or the method I say now for outing the greenscreen in a video. So lets get started.

What is Green screen in a video?

Green screen is the background color of a video. It helps us in making the Visual effects for movies, short films and many more. This Greenscreen helps us to make our video elevated in a high end graphical video, So that our resulted movie or video will be liked by the audience. This greenscreen is the major part of the movie industry in making the VFX( VISUAL EFFECTS ) works for the movies.

 

What is chroma key?

Chroma key is a visual effecting technique used in the layering two videos or images with some color background. This method is also called as “ keying ”.

Process to remove Green screen from a Video:

 

Step 1:

Import the green screen video and a good looking background to your filmora (any video editing software)

*To import the Video files into your video editing software, use the short cut key: CTRL+O, So that you can open your video files from your system.

 

Step 2:

Now drag the background video to the main video track and create a new video track for overlaying the green screen on the background video.

*Make sure you have clearly cropped the green screen video as per your convenience.

 FUNFACT: Filmora allows you to crop the video while and after you play the video.

 

Step 3:

After the cropping work, click on the green screen video in the audio track and enter into the EDIT option.  After you have entered the editing option, just click or mark a tick on “ CHROMA KEY”. After activating the chroma key, adjust the tolerance to 52, So that the background of the green screen will be clearly removed from the video without any color marks in it.. So that the output of the video will be looking good for the audience.

 

*Adjustment of the tolerance to 52 makes the video look good. You can also adjust the tolerance as your wish based on the green screen video overlaying on the background video.

 

 

Step 4:   

After a quick conformation of the total editing, Once play your edited video. After you have watched the edited vide, If you have found any mistakes, just clear them and again watch the edited video.

 

Now just think about the name which has to be given to the edited video and click the “EXPORT ”option to export the edited video into your system.
